The Russians reported a drone attack on the night of December 27. Due to the air threat, the “Carpet” plan was introduced at the airports of Astrakhan, Volgograd, Sochi and Kazan, and a ban on the arrival and departure of aircraft was in effect.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims to have “destroyed” 13 allegedly Ukrainian drones overnight: 5 over Bryansk Oblast, 3 over Kursk, 2 over Belgorod and Tula, and 1 over Astrakhan.
The “Carpet” plan was in effect at airports in a number of cities. At the same time, the plane flying from Moscow to Astrakhan was redirected to Makhachkala, but later restrictions were introduced there, as well as in Samara and Grozny.
“A temporary ban on the receipt and release of aircraft has been introduced at the Astrakhan airport. Flights have been delayed for departure and arrival. Flights have also been delayed at the Volgograd airport,” one of the propaganda media outlets writes.
Rosaviatsia also reported that the airport in Kazan “is temporarily not accepting or sending flights.” It is reported that this was done to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights in connection with the threat of drone attacks.
Note that due to the threat of drones, Aeroflot plane SU1172, flying from Moscow to Astrakhan, was initially delayed for five hours, but it still has not reached its destination. After takeoff, the plane was redirected to Makhachkala.
