The US Secretary of State called on the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan” ;do everything possible to get away from any conflict".
Russia probably wants to “shake up” the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in order to divert attention from Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, reports CNN.
“But if Russia can really use its own influence for the good, that is, reassure (the parties. – Ed.), stop violence and encourage people to participate in good faith in the development of the world, this would be a positive moment,” Blinken added.
The Secretary of State said that he spoke with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan yjana and “urged them to do everything possible to get away from any conflict and return to talking about building a strong peace between their countries.”
“We again saw the outbreak of hostilities, which is not in anyone's interests,” Blinken summed up.
Let us remind that the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia escalated once again at midnight on Tuesday, September 13th. The states exchanged accusations of provocations and shelling.
