Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that Russia plans to organize a coup in Moldova in the near future and at the same time sent Chechen fighters to Turkey, who may later end up in Chisinau.

< p>Danilov announced this on the air of 1 + 1 as part of the United News telethon on February 11.

He clarified that this was a Chechen group that took part in the war against Ukraine in the first days of the invasion in February 2022

“There (in Moldova – ed.) the country's leadership is being changed, the security bloc is being strengthened as much as possible. Our intelligence warned Moldova that the Russian Federation wants to create a so-called coup d'etat there in the near future . They are very aware of all this,” said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

He added that Russia is striving for Moldova to once again “become very on fire”, so that a point of tension arises there, to which maximum attention will be paid.< /p>

“Moreover, I can say that some of those scum who were part of the so-called Chechen group on our territory on February 24-25-26 are currently working as “rescuers” in Turkey . We are monitoring this situation very carefully so that these “rescuers” do not end up in Chisinau. We know their last names, first names and patronymics. They had a personal task since February 24,” Danilov said.

Recall that earlier it became known that Russia sent to Turkey “to help” in the aftermath of the earthquake ally of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Daniil Martynov suspected of war crimes in Ukraine.

Note that on February 9, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced that intelligence had intercepted the Russian plan to destroy the political situation in Moldova with the destruction of the democratic order and the seizure of power Moldovan President Maia Sandu confirmed receipt of these data from Ukraine.

The next day, Moldovan Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa announced that she was resigning.
