The Russian Foreign Minister is now on a trip to Egypt , Ethiopia, Uganda and the Republic of the Congo.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovtravels to Egypt, Ethiopia, Uganda and the Republic of the Congo.
According to the UK Ministry of Defense, Russia is using Lavrov's visit to Africa to blame the West for the food crisis.
“It is quite likely that Russia will try to use visits to the event for an international food crisis and enlist the support of African states that have otherwise remained neutral about the Russian invasion of Ukraine,” the British daily review says.
According to British intelligence, since 2014, Russia has made significant efforts to secure influence in Africa, with Wagner PMC often used as one of its favorite tools of influence in the region.
“Russia is probably the first to interact with Africa because it believes it will reinforce the identity of the “great state” that Russia aspires to. Its secondary goals are likely to secure commodity concessions and persuade African states to vote accordingly “to Russia's interests in international forums,” – the message says.
Also, according to intelligence, the Russian private military company “Wagner” has achieved a mustache infantry in a tactical offensive in the Donbass in the area of the Uglegorskaya TPP and the village of Novoluganskoye. Some Ukrainian forces have probably already withdrawn from the area.
Recall, Lavrov said that the grain export agreement does not prevent Russia from continuing shelling Ukraine.
