The Russian Defense Ministry reports that more than 60 UAVs were allegedly shot down overnight. In particular, 37 UAVs were allegedly destroyed over the territory of the Rostov region, 20 over the Bryansk region, two over the Voronezh region, one over the Belgorod region and one over the Oryol region.
In addition, on the night of January 5, drones attacked in the area of Taganrog, Tarasovka and Millerovo in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
An attack by a UAV on a military airfield in Millerovo was reported.
“Millerovo is fighting off dozens of UAVs. The explosions have been going on for half an hour. They are trying to attack the airfield,” the Russian publics.
There was also unrest in Grayvoron and several villages in the Belgorod region – drone strikes were recorded there. There were no casualties, but buildings and cars were damaged.
Earlier it became known that two explosions occurred near the base of the Northern fleet Russia.
