Russia handed over to the member countries of the UN Security Council evidence of the Investigative Committee and RT of the crimes of the Ukrainian military using prohibited methods of war in the Donbass. This was announced by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Vershinin, RIA Novosti reports.

“I ask you to look at these materials and ask you to be prepared that you will see a terrible thing,” the diplomat said, speaking at a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization.

On February 8, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Anna Soroka, announced that the former President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, was awaiting an international trial for the genocide of the inhabitants of Donbass. She noted that Poroshenko should have thought about finding a country in which he could hide from politically motivated Ukrainian retribution. But at the same time, she also predicted to the ex-president an imminent international investigation into war crimes and the genocide of the inhabitants of Donbass, which, according to her, he was the sponsor and inspirer of.
