Germany's actions in the situation with Alexei Navalny were fine-tuned, which may indicate signs of staging. This is stated in the commentary of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that Russia initially took the most transparent position: it was promptly agreed to leave for treatment in Germany after Navalny's health stabilized. In addition, Russian doctors provided the Germans with data on Navalny's health status. It is noted that Berlin, in turn, saw no need to cooperate with Russia.
“Surprisingly, unlike the Russian toxicologists, the doctors of the Charite clinic immediately discovered the presence of cholinesterase inhibitors in the analyzes of the Russian blogger, announcing his poisoning. After that, German military chemists were promptly involved in the situation, ”Russian diplomats point out. It was military medical specialists who announced traces of the poison from the Novichok group.
“There are also questions regarding the well-being of the people around the“ poisoned ”Alexei Navalny in the hotel, at the airport and on board the plane, which, logically, should have been seriously affected. However, this did not happen. (…) In a word, amazing things on the verge of fantasy happened everywhere, ”the Foreign Ministry said.
Representatives of Moscow also noted that the OPCW exceeded its powers. In particular, the experts of the organization on September 5-6 “independently selected Navalny's biomaterial”, sending a request to Berlin only on September 12-13.
Earlier it was reported that the German permanent mission to the OPCW received a note from Russia on the incident with the opposition leader and will respond to it within 10 days.
Navalny became ill on August 20 during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow, the plane was landed in Omsk. There he fell into a coma, a few days later from the Omsk hospital he was transported to the Berlin clinic “Charite”. European toxicologists said that substances from the Novichok group were found in Navalny's body. His tracks were found on a bottle from under water, which his relatives took from the room of the Tomsk hotel. In September, Navalny was brought out of a coma and discharged from the Charite.
