On the evening of Saturday, March 2, Russian security forces tried to detain militants in a high-rise apartment in the city of Karabulak. They responded by opening fire.
According to local Telegram channels, the battle lasted almost 16 hours.
Fighters of the security forces of the Putin regime carried out indiscriminate shelling of residential buildings in the area of the military clash, using small and heavy weapons, including grenade launchers. As a result, even nearby houses came under fire from security forces.
Russian authorities assured that residents of nearby houses were evacuated. However, local public pages reported that civilians were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
Only around noon on Sunday, March 3, did the shooting stop. Russian authorities reported the elimination of all six militants. Not one of them laid down their arms or surrendered. There are no reports of losses among security forces.
On social networks it is reported that the battle with FSB special forces was led by Amirkhan Gurazhev’s group, which last year managed to carry out several successful attacks on Russian security forces, in including at the traffic police post.
Recall that the day before in the city of Karabulak in Ingushetia, the Russian authorities introduced an anti-terrorist operation regime, after which the security forces began a battle with unknown persons who were in an apartment on the third floor of an apartment building.
