Russia will not allow rehabilitating the leader of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, and fascism. This was told by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova during a speech at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center, she is quoted by TASS.
“I would like to support intolerance. Intolerance to attempts to justify, whitewash Nazi criminals and their accomplices. In a number of countries, the glorification of collaborators has become an element of state policy, this is a fact, ”the diplomat emphasized.
In her opinion, the world community must do everything to prevent such “revanchism”. Zakharova added that the world could become a witness to “the accomplished policy of the rehabilitation of Hitler and fascism” if it “loses the war” for defending real historical facts about the times of World War II.
In May 2020, the Polish Foreign Ministry indicated that the Third Reich was not the only culprit in World War II. Warsaw considered that Russia was also responsible for the outbreak of the war.
