The Russians were concerned about three aircraft over the Black Sea.
On Wednesday, December 8, Russian SU-27 fighters escorted French Mirage-2000 and Rafale military aircraft over the Black Sea, which flew together with a tanker aircraft.
This was reported by the Russian TASS agency with reference to the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.
The report clarified that air targets approaching the Russian state border found Russian airspace control over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. After that, two SU-27 fighters were taken into the air.
“The crews of the Russian fighters identified the aerial targets as two tactical fighters Mirage-2000 and Rafale, as well as the C-135 tanker aircraft of the French Aerospace Forces and accompanied them over the Black Sea,” the message says. p>
French military aircraft were forced to make a U-turn, after which Russian fighters returned to their home base.
Recall that earlier Russian Su-27 and Su-30 fighters took off over the Black Sea, forcing them to turn around two American planes allegedly moving towards the border of the Russian Federation.
