Crews launched into the air, identified the US Air Force RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft and the CL-600 ARTEMIS ground reconnaissance aircraft US troops. After the American planes made a U-turn, the Russian Su-27 and Su-30 returned to their home base.
“Violations of the state border of the Russian Federation were not allowed,” the message emphasized.
Subsequently, the RF Ministry of Defense published a video of the aircraft escorting.
