Russian scientists can be sent into space. They will undertake special biological experiments in flight conditions.
At least, this follows from the words of the head of the laboratory for the development and implementation of biomedical programs at the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuri Smirnov, reports TASS.
The fresh initiative will make it possible to achieve the fulfillment in space of those tasks that only highly specialized experts are capable of. At the same time, the discoveries made by specialists in new conditions are quite capable of helping astronauts in the future when flying to distant planets.
Note that earlier astronomers from Chile found a planet that, in theory, could be habitable. We are talking about one of the planets in the star cluster L 98-59 – it is on its surface that organic life can exist, experts said.
