According to him, flows of migrants are destroying the ethno-confessional balance.
Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that illegal migration creates conditions for the collapse of the country.
He said this at the XII International Meeting of High Representatives for Security in St. Petersburg.
According to Patrushev, flows of migrants and temporarily displaced persons provoked by man-made crises “destroy the ethno-confessional balance and form the preconditions not only for changing borders, but also for the collapse of countries.”
“Illegal migration is closely related to terrorist threats, organized crime, trafficking in weapons, drugs, people and human organs,” said Patrushev.
Recall, Doctor of Economics Igor Lipsits believes that the collapse of Russia can occur according to a fairly easy model. He noted that Russia as an economy has always relied on the fact that its western part is a transit region through which resources extracted in the east pass. This is how exports to Europe take place, and from there the goods arrive in Moscow, through which they are sent to other countries.
