After the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, the authorities do not plan to close the borders for men. But the situation may change with a massive outflow of people.
The issue of borders depends both on the power bloc of Russia and on President Vladimir Putin himself.
This was reported by the Russian edition ” Meduza,” referring to a source close to the Kremlin.
“The authorities do not plan to close the border for Russian men until the end of the “referendums” in the occupied territories of Ukraine (they should end on September 27). However, the situation may change,” if there will be a massive outflow,” the publication says.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, the situation depends on the assessment of the “power bloc” (we are talking about the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, special services and law enforcement agencies), as well as Putin himself, who is sure that “referendums” and mobilization should be carried out as soon as possible.
Note that in the Russian Federation it has already been forbidden to leave the Kursk region subject to mobilization.
