President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that Russia could attack a NATO member country “within five years.”
He stated this in an interview Sky News.
At the same time, when asked whether Russia could attack within a few months, Zelensky responded that he “does not believe that (Putin, — Ed. ) is ready” for this.

Zelensky also said that NATO countries' plans to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP by 2035 are being implemented “very slowly.”
“We believe that, starting in 2030, Putin may have significantly greater opportunities,” he added.
According to him, today the Kremlin dictator is being restrained from attacking a NATO member country by Ukraine.
He warned that Russian troops were “destroying and wiping everyone off the face of the earth on the battlefield.”
— In any case (Putin, — Ed. ) needs a pause, he needs sanctions lifted, he needs a trained army. And 10 years is a very long time. By that time he will have a new army ready, — the president added.
Let us recall that on June 23 it was reported that NATO members have reached an agreement to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP.
