German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated this during a meeting in Saarbrücken, Germany, reports DW.
He said that dictator Putin is ready to kill hundreds of thousands of people in order to seize new territories.
“In order to seize additional square meters of Ukrainian territory, Vladimir Putin is not only killing many Ukrainian civilians, but also sending hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers to certain death,” Scholz said.
According to German authorities, now 350 thousand Russian soldiers have either died or been seriously injured. Scholz added that this figure is growing every day by a thousand or more.
