Russia joined the retaliatory sanctions of Belarus against Western countries

Moscow automatically joined the retaliatory sanctions of Belarus against Western countries. This is stated in the comments of the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

The statement states that restrictive measures are beginning to be applied on Russian territory automatically “in accordance with the allied obligations” of the countries.

Belarus has introduced sanctions against the European Union since October 2 as a retaliatory measure.
