Ukrainian leader stressed that Putin's Russia is not fighting against Ukraine, but against a civilized approach to life.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, said that Russia, taking advantage of the slowdown in hostilities, is strengthening and preparing for revenge.< /p>
“We see that Russia is trying to strengthen and prepare for revenge,” he said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader assured that the Kremlin would not be able to fulfill its intentions, because “they [the Russian occupiers] are not fighting against Ukraine, but against a civilized approach to life.”
Zelensky also noted that the fighting at the front has slowed down, because “everyone ut: nature, people and the enemy.”
“War really slows down in winter. There are understandable circumstances and understandable reasons … It all looks like this: daily fierce battles in the east of our state. We stand steadfastly and firmly…” the Ukrainian president assured.
He also added that the situation in the southern and northern directions remains under the full control of Ukraine.
