The Russian Federation is becoming a loser for everyone, China has become the main player in Central Asia — Klimkin

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2014-2019 Pavlo Klimkin believes that China will no longer help Russia.

According to him, China has become the main player in Central Asia, and the Russian Federation will not be a partner for Beijing, but a “vassal”.

Klimkin wrote such an opinion on his telegram page.

“CSTO is over. Not today and not tomorrow, but the end. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Uzbekistan showed this to everyone.China has become the main player in Central Asia.Putin's admission that China has “anxiety and a question” about its war with Ukraine surprised everyone.Chinabegins to treat Russia with contempt, relations with Russia are cooling. At the strategic level, they will continue to talk about partnership, but China will not help. Let's be honest: Putin's complete loss to China is unprofitable. But before, the Kremlin was a partner for China, albeit a younger one. Now he has become a vassal,” he noted.

Klimkin stressed that “the Russian Federation is becoming a peripheral loser for everyone. And the point is not only that Putin is no longer met at the plane, although this says a lot. Now he will look at China from the bottom up. At some moment, the West and China may agree to replace Putin and the fear of this will now always catch up with him. And all this is thanks to Ukraine.”

Recall that The Wall Street Journal wrote that China would not take risks for the sake of rapprochement with Putin. The publication cites the opinions of various experts on this matter. During the meeting, Chinese leader Xi Jinping assured Russia in support, and Putin acknowledged that Beijing has “questions and concerns” about the war in Ukraine, which he promised to answer later.
