Russia helped the DPRK establish production of Shahed-type attack drones – Ukrainian intelligence confirmed the participation of Russian instructors in training North Korean UAV pilots.
As I said last fall, and now the GUR confirms this, the production of “Shaheds”/“Geran” in the DPRK has already been established with the help of Russia.
This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko.
Russian instructors are working in Pyongyang, as well as in the area of the Kalma airfield in the city of Wonsan, and are training North Korean UAV pilots, both on attack FPV and other attack UAVs.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, reported what weapons Russia is exchanging with Pyongyang and what such interaction means.
