In the Russian Federation, the number of cases of forced mobilization of Central Asian citizens for the war against Ukraine has increased.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“First of all, Moscow recruits labor migrants who come to Russia to earn money, including from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan,” the department’s statement says.

According to intelligence, such forcibly mobilized migrants are used to form separate units of the Russian army, which are used primarily as cannon fodder in the most dangerous areas of the front.

The GUR also named two Russian mercenaries from Central Asia who were recently liquidated in Ukraine:

Intelligence emphasizes that the chances of survival for those mobilized in the war against Ukraine are minimal.

Earlier, the head of the Institute of Conflictology and Analysis of Russia, Alexander Shulga, reported that Russians are able to put up with dictatorship and rising prices, but they do not accept forced mobilization without bonuses.
