Technopolis “Era”, which took part in the forum “Army 2021”, presented a new reconnaissance drone “Fly”. Probably, the device is so called not only because of its size, but also because it moves in a protective spherical carbon fiber housing.
The drone belongs to the type of small unmanned aerial vehicles and is intended for reconnaissance in difficult conditions: inside any buildings, indoors, and even when the remote control is lost. The Fly is protected by a sturdy, spherical CFRP casing made up of multiple honeycombs for safety in the event of collisions with objects.
The drone itself is really small.
