It is designed to destroy lightly vulnerable equipment and military equipment in reinforced concrete shelters. The NZIV claims that the S-13B can pierce through up to six meters of soil or up to a meter of reinforced concrete, covered with earth or sand to a thickness of two to three meters. In addition, the missile is capable of destroying up to 20 square meters of the runway.
