Russia has become more active in Belarus: ISW announced an increase in the enemy’s military presence

A large-scale military group has been deployed on the territory of two regions of the country.

Russia has strengthened the grouping of its troops on the territory of Belarus. Thus, with the support of the Russian Federation, the Belarusian military deployed several battalions and tactical groups in two regions of the country.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), citing information from Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets.

Mashovets reported on December 17 that the Belarusian army deployed a large-scale military group in the territory of two regions of the country. It consists of 1,840 military personnel, up to 68-70 armored personnel carriers, 24 artillery systems and three air defense systems.
