Russia has transferred control of the corridor connecting Armenia and unrecognized Karabakh to Azerbaijan.
< p>The so-called “Russian peacekeepers” have already begun to dismantle the checkpoints along the so-called Lachin corridor.
This is reported by the Azerbaijani APA agency.
The Russians are taking back their checkpoints set up at the entrance to the Lachin corridor and along the road from Gubadli region. Azerbaijan has reported that this route will become free next week.
The Russians will continue to serve on the new corridor laid by Azerbaijan in accordance with the agreement with Armenia after the six-week war in 2020.
Recall that Azerbaijan bombed a military unit and took control of the heights in Nagorno-Karabakh.
