On the 18th day of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the state, position and nature of the actions of the defense forces remain unchanged.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy continues to use civilian infrastructure for military needs.
In violation of International Humanitarian Law, the enemy places units and equipment at high-risk facilities, fires at civilians, conducts illegal checks of personal belongings and searches among local residents, and changes into civilian clothes and the uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The moral and psychological state of the enemy troops that participated in the battles with the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to deteriorate , the number of cases of desertion and refusal to execute orders is growing.
According to available information, a large number of Russian servicemen wounded during the war in Ukraine are being treated in medical institutions in the southeastern region of Belarus.
There are not enough blood supplies for surgical operations. The reserves accumulated for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus are used – about 2/3 of the reserve is redirected to the needs of the military personnel of the Russian Federation. The blood collection campaign among public sector workers and the civilian population has intensified.
In connection with the losses , the armed forces of the Russian Federation are forming new units . In particular, the enemy command plans to recruit about 1,500 people from the 40th Separate Marine Brigade (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Pacific Fleet).
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the defense forces, give a worthy rebuff to the enemy troops. Over the previous day, two helicopters, two fighter jets (one of which was a Su-34) and two drones were destroyed.
