Failures are recorded in almost all Russian operators and in many services.
A large-scale failure was recorded in the Russian Internet on January 14, affecting many providers and users across the country.
This was reported by Russian telegram channels.
Key Russian telecom operators are experiencing Internet problems: Rostelecom, Dom.ru, MegaFon, Beeline, and Tele2.
In particular, users from Penza, Perm, Kazan, and other regions report complete unavailability of most Internet resources, including websites, video hosting services, social networks, and banking programs. According to the Downdetector service, failures have also been recorded in the operation of instant messengers.
At the same time, Russians note that the only thing that works during the global failure is Telegram.
Roskomnadzor said that they do not know the reasons for the problems with the Internet:
“Failures are being recorded for all operators, the cause of the failure is being determined.”
By the way, in mid-December 2024, there was a failure in the operation of Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp.
