Russia does not allow the opening of humanitarian corridors for civilians, using them as human shields.
This was stated on the air of one of the TV channels by Vice Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
The official also demanded an official statement from the Red Cross that Russia was ignoring their appeals.
“Now the Russian Federation wants civilians to remain in cities and villages, including children and elderly people in cities that fire and do not provide humanitarian corridors so that the Ukrainian army cannot strike back,” Vereshchuk said.
According to the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, our country demands from the Red Cross and the OSCE to do everything so that civilians “do not become hostages of the insane leadership of Russia.” The occupier plans to use civilians as a human shield, which significantly complicates the defense of our land.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov believes that Russian troops were afraid of direct contact with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Therefore, the enemy resorted to the criminal tactics of shelling peaceful cities.
Recall that very soon there will be even more ghosts of Kiev for the defense of cities – aces of flying will receive 40 fighters from European countries. According to the Navy, Poland will provide MiG-29 – 28 units and Slovakia MiG-29 – 12 aircraft.
