The 18-year-old Moscow native of Chechen origin, who beheaded a French teacher near Paris, has nothing to do with Russia. The head of the press service of the Russian embassy in France, Sergei Parinov, disowned ties with him, reports TASS.
“This crime has nothing to do with Russia, since this person lived in France for 12 years, his family was accepted by the French side,” Parinov stressed.
According to him, accused of the crime Abdulah Anzorov entered France with his parents in 2008, when he was six years old. There they asked for political asylum and received the status of political refugees, after which, in accordance with the law, they lost their Russian citizenship. In France, the family lived on the basis of a long-term residence permit.
Parinov also noted that Anzorov had no contacts with the Russian embassy.
Earlier, the French newspaper Le Figaro, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, named the name of the attacked teacher. The publication also noted that it was an 18-year-old Chechen who was born in Moscow and later moved to France. Later, the French anti-terrorist prosecutor's office confirmed the information that appeared in the media about the identity of the accused.
