Roskomnadzor demanded that the social network Facebook removed the blocking from the broadcast dedicated to the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space.
The department sent a demand to Facebook's management. It is alleged that the social network has introduced restrictions on the broadcast of the live broadcast. Roskomnadzor asked to explain the reason for this.
We are talking about a live broadcast of the Russia Today edition, which took place on April 9. The program was attended by cosmonauts Andrei Borisenko, Sergei Ryazansky and Anna Kikina. The broadcast was broadcast on RT's official Facebook account. The social network blocked it, noting that the video violates copyright.
Roskomnadzor did not fail to note that Facebook's actions “again violate the key principles of the free flow of information and are an act of censorship.”
The American company Facebook has not yet commented on the situation.
