Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations in Vienna, assessed the state of the Vienna negotiations on the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program. He wrote about this on his official Twitter account.

Ulyanov said that negotiations on the nuclear deal had reached the point where the parties needed to make final decisions. “I agree. The time has come to make final decisions at the Vienna talks on the JCPOA,” urged Russia’s permanent representative in Vienna.

Thus, Ulyanov responded to the statement of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, the head of the Iranian delegation, Ali Bagheri, on Twitter that the negotiators in Vienna came closer than ever to concluding an agreement on a nuclear deal.

Earlier it was reported that Vienna was as close as possible to concluding an agreement on a nuclear deal. This statement was made by the Iranian representative Bagheri Kyani.

On February 7, Mikhail Ulyanov said that the negotiations on the JCPOA on the Iranian nuclear program could be completed in a short time. He stressed that several points of the document require additional elaboration, but “the paper is already on the table.”
