The Russian Embassy in Podgorica asked Montenegro to strengthen the security of its building due to threats from the Ukrainian diplomatic mission. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in her Telegram channel.

“The Consul of Ukraine in Podgorica tagged his Facebook post with the hashtag “Russia must be destroyed.” He removed the hashtag a few hours later. The Russian embassy sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro with a request to strengthen the security of our building in case of provocations on February 19, ”Zakharova wrote.
