Russia and US to meet in Munich — Trump

Russia's participation in the Munich Security Conference has not been officially announced.

On Friday, February 14, at the Munich Security Conference, representatives of the Russian Federation and the United States will hold a meeting on the settlement of the war in Ukraine.

This was announced at a briefing in In the White House, US President Donald Trump.

“There will be a meeting in Munich tomorrow [February 14]. Russia will be there with our people. Ukraine is also invited, by the way. I’m not sure who will represent which country. But [there will be] officials from Russia, Ukraine and the United States,” he said.

Russia's participation in the Munich Security Conference has not been officially announced. The aggressor state has not participated in this summit since 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Recall that Vice President J.D. Vance, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet on February 14 on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. They are expected to discuss US President Donald Trump's intention to begin negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
