Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN: The US is spreading lies about the situation around Ukraine

The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN has accused the United States of spreading lies about the situation around Ukraine, accusing Russia of accumulating forces at the border. This is reported by TASS.
As indicated in the diplomatic mission, Washington, instead of dialogue, voices an “engaged and having nothing to do with reality position,” which is “a vivid example of the destructive line of the United States.” American diplomats, “cultivating Russophobia among their citizens and like-minded states, talking about accumulations of Russian troops as almost the root cause of all problems, forget to clarify that we are talking about Russian forces on Russian territory,” the mission noted.
They stressed that such statements contrast “with the American and NATO weapons and countless advisers who have flooded Ukraine and some other states close to the Russian borders.” In addition, Washington does not give any explanation for the presence of the American fleet near the Russian shores of the American fleet, which increases tensions in the Black Sea region.
In recent months, statements have been made in Kiev and in the West about the threat of a Russian attack on Ukraine. Moscow denies any aggressive plans. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that, hiding behind the alleged imminent invasion of Russia, Kiev, together with the West, are preparing provocations themselves.
