Most of the war fugitives go to Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), more than 500,000 Ukrainian refugees arrived in Eastern Europe after the Russian invasion, many of them in makeshift camps.
This was announced on Monday, February 28, by the UNHCR.
UNHCR is working with partners and local authorities to provide humanitarian assistance and support to those in need.
