Forward “Zenith” and the Russian national team Artem Dzyuba may change the club. This is reported by RBC with reference to a source in the St. Petersburg team.
Rubin held talks with Zenit about the player's transfer to the Kazan club. Also, the team became interested in the forward of “Wings of the Soviets” Ivan Sergeev.
Dziuba has played 25 matches for Zenit in all tournaments this season, scored ten goals and gave seven assists. The footballer has been playing for the blue-white-blue since 2015. In September, he refused to be called up to the national team for the October qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup, explaining that he was not in optimal shape for this.
Zenit is ranked first in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season. Rubin is in 10th place in the standings. The team is headed by the former coach of the national team Leonid Slutsky.
