“Rating Bookmakers” reported that the editorial office has documents that describe options for possible reform of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The full version of the article is available on the website of the publication.
As follows from one of the options, the league is proposed to be reduced to 12 clubs. It is understood that the teams will hold the regular season in two rounds, after which they will split into two groups of six clubs, whose members will play among themselves. The clubs of the first group will determine the participants of the European competitions, while the second six will identify candidates for demotion in the class.
