At the moment, the question of the transfer of Fiorentina forward Alexander Kokorin to Sochi is irrelevant. The head coach of the Russian Premier League (RPL) team Vladimir Fedotov told Sport24 about this.
He also found it difficult to answer the question whether the forward could help the team. “It is unclear what state he is in, including psychology. At the moment, we cannot correctly assess the degree of its readiness, “- said Fedotov, assessing the likelihood of the transfer.
At the same time, the specialist emphasized that Kokorin played great for Sochi and perfectly joined the team. “We are watching him, we are happy with the good news from him and we are upset that so far he almost does not enter the field,” the coach added.
Kokorin played for Sochi in the 2019/2020 season. The forward played ten matches in the RPL as part of the team, in which he scored seven goals and made two assists.
