Former four-weight boxing world champion Roy Jones Jr. has expressed his willingness to fight again with compatriot and fellow ex-world champion Mike Tyson. 51-year-old Jones is quoted by MMA Fighting.
Jones noted that he is ready to enter the ring again against Tyson. However, the American stressed that he needed to consult with his family. “Taking punches from Mike is not easy,” he stressed.
Both boxers were unhappy with the result of their confrontation. The exhibition match took place on November 29 and ended in a draw.
At the end of April, Tyson announced his desire to return to the professional ring for charity tournaments. The American has not fought since 2005.
Jones held the middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight titles. The American retired in February 2018.
