“As part of improving the Rospotrebnadzor system, just one of the tasks is to quickly respond to relevant challenges, quickly create vaccines and create test systems in four days. It's real, ”he said.
According to him, it is realistic to create a vaccine against a new infection in four months. He explained that platforms for vaccines have already been created, and their composition may be changed.
Earlier, during a message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in the event of new dangerous infections, the country should be ready to develop its own test systems within four days and create an effective domestic vaccine in the shortest possible time.
