On Friday, April 30, Roskomnadzor notified Twitter to remove all prohibited content by May 15.

The department reported that to date, only 60 percent of the information banned in Russia has been removed on the social network; by May 15, another 1,000 materials need to be removed.

Roskomnadzor noted that an agreement was reached on organizing a direct line of communication between departments of the department and the Twitter moderation service.

The administration of the social network, in turn, notified Roskomnadzor of the preparation of a “road map” to bring its work in line with Russian legislation.

We will remind, on April 2, the court imposed three fines on Twitter at once, the total amount of which amounted to 8.9 million rubles. Three days later, Roskomnadzor announced its decision to extend measures to slow down social network traffic until May 15 of this year.

At the same time, the press service of the department indicated that it was decided not to proceed to the next measure – a complete blocking of the work of the social network in Russia, since the company had previously decided to remove some of the information prohibited in the country.
