An initiative group of members of the Public Chamber of Russia, which includes Elena Mizulina's daughter, Ekaterina, presented an anti-rating of social networks, which, according to the compilers, distribute destructive content. Roskomnadzor agreed with this rating: it called it objective.
The main distributors of destructive content, according to the list, are Facebook and YouTube. Mizulina recalled that when members of the Public Chamber presented the first anti-rating in February, Roskomnadzor “almost immediately” took decisive steps – slowing Twitter traffic. “… we hope that this time too, serious decisive measures to combat destructive content on the part of Roskomnadzor will be taken against the leaders of this anti-rating,” Mizulina said.
Facebook and YouTube in anti-rating are followed by Twitter, Instagram, VKontakte, TikTok and Odnoklassniki. The compilers found “acts of censorship against Russian media” only on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
