On the sites of services Google, Facebook, Twitter, about 5.5 thousand materials prohibited in Russia have not yet been removed. This was stated by the deputy head of Roskomnadzor Vadim Subbotin at a meeting in the Federation Council.
“Only at the sites of the three largest IT services, Internet services that belong to Google, Facebook, Twitter, about 5.5 thousand of this kind of materials are still not deleted,” RIA Novosti quotes Subbotin as saying.
He noted that we are talking about materials that aim to incite national or extremist hatred, call for extremist activities and the use of violence.
Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor blocked more than 427 thousand prohibited materials in nine months.
