Roskomnadzor denied the reports of failures with telecom operators, which appeared due to its technical means of countering threats (TSPU). This statement was made in the press service of the department.
On Friday, April 8, the Kommersant newspaper, citing sources in the regional operator Obit and one of the major telecom operators, told about system failures in the networks of large federal and regional operators, which began to occur due to the operation of Roskomnadzor equipment installed for execution of the law on “sovereign runet”.
The press service of the department denied this information.
“The material of the newspaper” Kommersant “contains information that has not been verified by the publication, which does not correspond to reality,” the statement says.
As specified, the equipment and technical means of countering threats (TSPU) works without failures and does not affect the operation of telecom operators' networks. “For the entire period of operation of the TSPU, no comments have been received from telecom operators,” the department added.
