Roskomnadzor (RKN) demanded that the social network Facebook restore access to the page of the RT Redfish project about World War II, as well as explain the reasons for the blocking. This is stated in a message on the website of the supervisory authority.
– Roskomnadzor sent a letter to Facebook Inc demanding to remove all imposed restrictions and explain the reasons for blocking the account associated with the educational project of the Russian media outlet Russia Today, – the message says.
Earlier it was reported that Facebook limited access to the account of the educational project Redfish of the Russian TV channel Russia Today after the publication of materials that are dedicated to extremely important events of the Second World War. The reason for blocking this information could be two posts with historical photographs, which depict the execution of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and the atrocities of the Nazis in concentration camps.
