Roskomnadzor demanded from Facebook to restore access to the RT project
Roskomnadzor demanded that Facebook remove the restrictions imposed on the account of the Russia Today educational project, as well as explain the reasons for blocking it, according to the agency's website.
The corresponding letter was sent to the address of the American company.
It, in particular, notes that such actions violate the basic principles of free dissemination of information and constitute an act of censorship in relation to the Russian media.
As specified, we are talking about the account of the educational project Redfish, access to which was limited after the publication of materials on the Second World War.
Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor demanded that Google remove restrictions on the YouTube channel RT. According to the ministry, video hosting, under the pretext of spreading false information about the coronavirus, blocked several videos of the channel, and also limited the possibility of new publications and the organization of live broadcasts.
