Over the past few months, Roskomnadzor (RKN) has often made complaints about YouTube. According to the regulator, the American service is harassing a number of domestic authors.
Now there is information that the RKN has even accused the video platform of censorship. Izvestia writes about this.
Thus, the department accused the Google project of “double standards” after the Second General Jurisdiction Court of Cassation called the court decisions to remove restrictions from the documentary film “Beslan” by Alexander Rogatkin justified.
Roskomnadzor representatives believe that this and other cases clearly reveal the policy of discrimination against Russian viewers and story authors.
Note that neither Google nor the Russian office of YouTube has yet given any comments on the incident.
