Recall that a small air leak on the ISS occurred in September 2019. In October last year, the crew discovered the first crack in the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module and repaired it in March this year. It was reported that she did not threaten the station or the crew in any way. Then a second crack was found, which the crew repaired in March. But the air leak did not stop. The astronauts continued to search for holes and the sealing process.
Note that now the 65th expedition is working on the ISS. It includes the Russians Oleg Novitsky and Petr Dubrov, the Americans Mark Vande Hai, Shane Kimbrow and Megan MacArthur, the Japanese Akihiko Hoside and the Frenchman Tom Peske. The Russian segment of the station includes the Zarya, Zvezda, Poisk, Rassvet and Nauka modules.
