Three women took party photos with drunken soccer icon Wayne Rooney. The pictures surfaced – now there are death threats.
Snapchat models Taylor Ryan, Elise Melvin and Brooke Morgan met Wayne Rooney in the VIP area of a nightclub. Then they went to a hotel room, where they posed for photos with the seriously drunk family man, including exposing their bare bums next to his head.
The photos found their way online, although Rooney secured the image rights for 1.20 euros (!). A spokesman for the former England goalscorer said at the time: “They made their own apologies for the embarrassment they caused. They were three decent women who went out for a night. Consequence: All three set their Instagram accounts to private, only friends can access their pictures. The police are investigating the matter. There is no evidence that Rooney or anyone near him was implicated in the death threats.
