Cristiano Ronaldo landed the first direct hit even before the start of the Champions League guest appearance by Manchester United in Bern.
A particularly painful one, however. The Portuguese had shot a ball in the direction of the goal while warming up, but missed the mesh.
Instead, the badly shot ball hit a folder that was watching the fans in the sold-out Wankdorf Stadium in Bern.
The hard shot hit the folder with full force, the man immediately fell to the floor. In no time at all, other security officers had rushed to take care of the man. The folder lay flat on its back, but quickly recovered from the heavy hit.
The apology from Ronaldo himself also helped. The 36-year-old had quickly rushed to the man who was lying on the ground, had also taken care of the folder …
